About Affinity Portals Affinity Portals is a dynamic new way for organizations and clubs to use the World Wide Web to communicate with their members and donors. It's based on the technology of the web portal, which dynamically generates web pages based on:
- what the organization wants to quickly communicate, and
- what each member wants to know about.
As an Affinity Portals customer, the sponsoring group receives:
- a hosted portal site that can be a link from your current web site, or can even replace your current site
- a set of simple web-based wizards and forms that will help you build your site without conventional web authoring
- a choice of several third-party syndicated content providers whose regularly updated news and information adds pull and interest to your portal
Members of the sponsoring group receive:
- Access to the sponsoring group's portal
- A customizable "My Page" that displays the latest news and information about the group's communities of interest (in portlets), plus external content the member can select
